Autism REC Social Saturday Cooking Workshop
We’re excited to announce the next phase of our Social Saturday Cooking Workshop! After months of hands-on learning in the kitchen, several of our young chefs are ready to take their skills to the next level.
As part of their continued growth, our participants will be hosting a Fish Fry Fundraiser, where they’ll take on real-world roles — preparing and cooking the meals, taking orders, and serving customers.
This special event will give our kids valuable experience in teamwork, customer service, and food preparation — all while building confidence and independence. The Fish Fry Fundraiser is not just a meal; it’s a milestone in helping our youth gain life and job-readiness skills in a fun, supportive environment!
